Comment Analysis

Comments are a useful input to assess how well-documented an application is. Comments offer insights into why a certain code construct was introduced or removed from the original program. AveriSource Analyze captures the percentage of comment lines in application source files, including Jobs and Programs. In addition to comment percentage, multi-line comments, partial-line comments, and whole-line comments are captured and reported.
